Try it On Tuesday.....Aquadelic

This Tuesday, I have China Glaze Aquadelic. Since my nails are a little longer, I have wanted to try some variations on the french manicure. I used Aquadelic for the french and one of the Color Club glitters from the Glitter Vixen collection. It doesn't have the name on the bottle and I lost the package. I used black and purple acrylic paint for the leopard print. I really liked this look, it made my nails look fancy....lol. Since I get obsessed easily, I will probably be trying on more french manis in the future. Enjoy!!

Floral Print...Take Two

So, I loving floral print right now and want to practice as much as I can. I was inspired by the pillow case that I am using at the moment. Here is a pic of the pattern:
I decided to use this pattern for inspiration for an accent nail. The purple color I used is Sinful Colors Verbena. For the accent nail I use China Glaze White Out and different acrylic paints.
Hope you enjoy!

Good vs. Evil Challenge

A friend of mine, who is into makeup, and I wanted to do some sort of challenge together. Since Batman  comes out today, we decided that we would use that as inspiration. Every week, we will do a GOOD VS. EVIL CHALLENGE. There will be a different "good" guy/girl and "bad" guy/girl every week. Today is the first post and we have chosen Batman vs. Poison Ivy.

Here are the makeup and nail looks we came up with:

We hope you enjoyed our first post in this challenge. Please go check out her blog to see some amazing makeup looks. If you would like to join us let us know. Enjoy!

Dotty Experiement

This is a quick post to show a mani I did. You know how I loooovve dot manicures, but I usually only use one color for the dots. I decided to experiment with using multiple colors. Here it is....(let me know what you think)

I used Sinful Colors Paradise, Essence Just Rock It, Sinful Colors Innocent, an Sinful Colors Snow Me White

Try it on Tuesday- Flower Power...

This mani is to continue with my flower obsession. I work with babies and I have been getting inspired by their clothes lately. One of the babies was wearing an outfit with a pattern like this. I loved the way this turned out.  I want to try it out in different colors. The base coat is China Glaze Pelican Gray. I have this polish for a while and never picked it up. I am mad at myself for not. It is a beautiful gray with a slight shimmer.I used black acrylic paint for the pattern. Hope you like it.

#Throwback Thursday

Being on Instagram and twitter, I see that people do throwback thursdays. I thought this is a great idea for me to show some of the older manis that I have done. So......here we go.

I love this mani. It is so vintage and classy to me. I used a black base and hand painted roses with acrylic paint.

I use the watermark jnjnails beacuse that is the name I use for tumblr. Why is it not the name of my blog? Idk Your guess is as good as mine...lol..

Try it on Tuesday...Havana Nights..

Don't mind my titles. I am so bad at writing. I am trying to make the titles interesting but they are coming out corny (lol). So......anyway this is my next Try it on Tuesday. I reorganized my nail polish stash (for the 30th time) and found this beauty in my stash. It is Wet n Wild Club Havana, a beautiful orange coraly (is that a word?) color.

I added some polka dots with white acrylic paint for a touch of nail art. Nothing fancy, but I like it. Sorry about the pics. For some reason these came out fuzzy.

P.S.
Here is a list of the other bloggers participating in this challenge. Take a look.

Floral Print

I have been loving floral print manis lately. They are so girly and pretty. What girl doesn't love flowers? I only did one nail because I wasn't sure how I would like a full mani or how well I would be able to do the flowers. After seeing this, I think I would like to try a full flower mani. I used Revlon Dreamer, Sally Hansen Insta Dri in Whirlwind White, and differnt color acrylic paints.Let me know what you think....

Hello to My New Favorite Color

This is an ammmmaazziinnng orange. Its Sinful Colors Citrine...It's sooo orange and perfect. It was weird when I was taking pictures of it because it looked red at times. I don't know who wouldn't want this color..
Look at this perfection....

I wanted to add some nail art but not a lot. I was reading MrCandiipants' blog and came across this post. She used a poison dart from for inspiration for her mani. I loved it and thought it would great as an accent nail for this mani. This is the frog used for inspiration. I also used Sinful Colors Snow Me White and black acrylic paint.

Here's the mani.
Enjoy!
Sincerely, Me

Fourth of July Mani ...

Here are two different looks I did for possible Fourth of July manis. I am not sure which one I like better.
I used Wet n Wild I Red a Good Book, Sally Hansen Insta Dri Whirlwind White, blue and white acrylic paint.

The first look is with just two accent nails. Since I love using dotting tools the accents had to be dots..lol

My second look is with dots on all nails

Not sure which one I like better... Enjoy!
