Flower Power....again!

As you can tell when I get obsessed, I can go a little overboard...lol...I love trying the same design different ways. Using a different color or a different variation, can change the whole look. So here I have a different variation of the flower mani I did here. I love the way this came out. I had to mess with the pic a little, so you can see how bright this polish really is. This polish is Funky Fingers Ectoplasmic. It is sooooo right and summery. I used black acrylic paint for the design. Hope you like it.

My Favorite Things Challenge - Day 2

Day 2 of the challenge was to use your favorite polish. One of my favorite polish is Sinful Colors Greek Isles. It's a like a darker mint green with blue in it. It's hard to explain. I added some flowers with hot pink, white, and green acrylic paint. I like the way it came out. I wanna try this again with smaller flowers and more of them. Hope you like it!!!

My Favorite Things Nail Art Challenge

I joined "My Favorite Things Nail Art Challenge." Kelly from Ooh La La Polish was ind enough to put it together. Check out her blog too!!! This is a cool challenge. Below is what we are doing.

My favorite color is blue and all the different shades of it. With nail polish I tend to stay towards the lighter blues because of the staining. I used a Cosmetic Arts polish and a Color Club glitter. Both polishes don't have a name on them (sorry).

I really love this color and see myself wearing it all the time. It is blue but has purple in it. Who doesn't love glitter. I changed this mani many times, so stay tuned....Enjoy!!

Glitter Bomb!!

I have obsessed with glitter lately (I know...another obsession..lol). I've been meaning to try a glitter gradient for a long time. Here is my first try and I must say I love it. Next time, I want to not make the glitter area so long. I want to shorten it and try out different colors. I sponged on China Glaze Dance, Baby and used Color Club Magic Attraction (I think that's the name of the glitter. Bottles do not have the name on them and I lost the package). It was hard to get a great pic of the glitter. Hope you enjoy it!

Another Dot Mani for Fun!!

I went back to dots for this mani. I like the way this came out. The base color is Sinful Colors Verbena and white acrylic paint for the dots. Enjoy!!!

I have another pic. It changed the color of the polish, but you can see the dots better, so I decided to show it as well. The polish looks more on the blue side here.

Try It On Tuesday - Poppy

Hi all! Here is my Try it On Tuesday....on a Wednesday. Sorry I'm a little late. This is a Gap nail polish called Poppy. It was an amazing formula to work with and only took two coats.

Here Fishy Fishy....

While looking through my usual blogs, I saw a few koi fish nails and fell in love. I wanted to give it a try. I used this mani (from The Rantings of a Nail Polish Hoarder) and this tutorial (from Mr.Candiipants) as a guide. I used Love & Beauty Coral, LA Colors Silver (don't know the name of it and there is no name on the bottle), Nicole by OPI My Lifesaver, orange paint, black paint, and white paint. Sorry about the bad quality of the photo. I thought I had a good pic and then when I went back, this is the best I had. :( I hate when that happens. I really do love this look though.
